Why do you use added ingredients in some of your products?
In many health supplements you will find “other ingredients" as well as the active ingredients that you are seeking. These are what are known in the industry as excipients, which contribute functional and/or structural roles within the supplement.
Whilst their role is not usually to add any nutritional benefit, they may be added to make consumption and absorption of the “active ingredients” more efficient and safe, and allow a consistent high quality production of supplements using high speed packaging equipment.
We feel that high quality and consistency are important for our customers and so use excipients in our formulations where necessary. We are always very careful about which excipients are used and do so as sparingly as possible. As you would expect, the same rigid safety and quality standards are used as for the active ingredients.

Are your supplements high quality?

What dosage is safe?
As you should expect, our supplement dosages are based on thorough research and expert consultations. However, please review the product details carefully before purchasing and consult with a healthcare professional for personalised advice. We value feedback but cannot provide medical guidance.
Are your products suitable for vegetarians or vegans?
We know that this matter is important for many of us, so wherever possible, our products are suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Please look for the symbols on the labels; we think that you will be pleasantly surprised at the range of products available.
Is your packaging recyclable?
The mail postal packs which we use for most of our supplements are HDPE (High-density polyethylene) plastic code 2. The lids are: PP (Polypropylene) plastic code 5. Manufacturer guidance on recycling states: “The postal packs are recyclable but this is dependent on what the applicable council takes in their recycling plants as all are different."
The round bottles we use are Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) - recycle code 1. Again these are easy to recycle and are done so by most councils. Generally speaking most councils recycle plastic types 1,2,4 and 5, although this can vary from council to council. Both the main bottle (type 2) and the lid (type 5) should be recyclable by most councils. Number 2 in particular is easily recyclable back into items such as non food containers, detergent bottles, recycling containers and floor tiles.
